What To Watch On Netflix This Weekend

What To Watch On Netflix This Weekend

So it’s officially the weekend and I’m ready to become a proper couch potato.

There’s something so satisfying about spending time at home and as my skin is being a pain and acting up, I think it’ll be one of those hide-inside-with-a-smoothie sorta weekends.

Here are a few things you should watch this weekend if your planning on spending it with your Netflix account like me.

A must see documentary about the disappearance of the world’s coral reefs, Chasing Coral will convince even the biggest of skeptics that global warming is a thing. I recommend watching this if you’re interested in reducing your impact on the earth and staying woke af.

A horror movie about a group of guys that go camping in the Scandinavian wilderness a year after the horrific murder of their friend. Weird things start happening, which leads to them getting lost and stumbling into an already occupied space…

This is a must see if you’ve watched the first installment and if not, now is the time to. John Wick is a movie franchise about a retired super-assassin – which usually isn’t my cup of tea but Keanu Reeves is so good in these films. Definitely something to watch if you’re looking for a shit tonne of action and ass kicking.

The Final Girls is a horror film… within a horror film? It’s basically a comedic take on your typical horror flick and has some amazing actors in it. Like – put Nina Dobrev in anything and I will watch it. It’s also full of ‘summer camp nostalgia’ vibes and I’m v much here for that.

Okay so somehow it’s been twenty years since this film first came out? It’s one of my favourite thrillers of all time and I also v much enjoy the sequels {which is rare for me}. I’m actually rewatching it as I type this blog post out because I’m that obsessed. Definitely check out I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer if you’re after a marathon.

I’ve not seen any of these apart from John Wick 2 which i absolutely LOVE!!! The shots in and style of the whole film are incredible and it’s so artistically done! One of my favourite films for certain!

I love I Know What You Did Last Summer! I bloody love the cast (although Sarah Michelle Gellar the most let’s be honest)- but it’s got that 90’s vibe that I love because it makes me feel like I’m a kid again. I really liked The Final Girls for a light laugh film as well, I’m the same with Nina Dobrev! I was like oh look Nina, I’ll watch it :p

Sarah Michelle Gellar is SO GOOD in I Know What You Did Last Summer. The fashion is also hilarious in both films haha it’s so cringe that people used to dress that way. xo
