Three Things To Do This Weekend

Three Things To Do This Weekend

We’ve made it to Friday, everyone, and I’ve never been so ready to lay horizontal on the couch and watch back-to-back episodes of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Mimosas, anyone?

Anyway, alongside downing your drink of choice, here are three things you should do this weekend, in no particular order.

Find a new tv show to binge watch

I’m never going to be one of those people that thrives when spending entire weekends working out and climbing mountains and constantly being active. I like to have some low-key time over the weekend, in which I literally do nothing – and I’m never mad if I spend my entire Saturday on the couch watching a good tv series. There’s just something so restorative about it.

I’ve just finished watching The Haunting of Hill House and the second season of Making a Murderer, so now I’m in desperate need of something new to binge watch, aside from Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. I’m thinking something that’s equally as dark and eerie as The Haunting of Hill House. Do you have any suggestions?

Give your skin a fresh start

When I’m particularly busy, the last thing on my mind is self-care. I know that’s probably the reason my skin is so awful most days, but I’m just being honest. This weekend, I’m planning on multi-masking in the mornings and exfoliating my entire body in the evenings. The mask I’m loving right now for acne prone skin is the Origins Clear Improvement Mask. It’s ideal for blackheads and any active breakouts – I love to leave it on for half an hour to an hour, to really clear my skin out. In terms of exfoliation, the Soap & Glory Breakfast Scrub is my favourite body scrub, like ever, because it smells like pancakes and maple syrup and makes exfoliating an absolute dream!

Try a new recipe

We love pizza in this house, and it’s usually something we eat at least once a week, but this weekend I’m going to switch it up a little and give Dominos a miss. Instead, I’m going to whip up this super simple Margherita Pizza using only a handful of ingredients and a sh*t-tonne of fresh basil.

Sometimes the simplest recipes are the best recipes – am I right?

Have a fab weekend!
