Skincare is something that can be super daunting. Even now, after spending three to four years researching ways to take better care of my skin, I still feel kind of lost. Should I use eye masks? Do I need vitamin c? Is eye cream a total gimmick?
When it comes down to it, there are a bunch of tried and true methods for taking care of your skin that don’t require a Master’s degree and your first born child, and so in the spirit of celebrating low key but effective skincare I thought I’d share them all with you here.
I’d love to know if you have any more tips to add to the list!
Drink more water
Take a biotin + zinc supplement
Eat healthy fats like salmon and avocado
Incorporate hyaluronic acid into your skincare routine
Apply a CC formula sunscreen on your face every day, even on the days you wear makeup
Moisturise! Dry skin leads to excess oil production and premature aging
Take your skincare products down to your boobs
Use an at-home chemical peel once or twice a week
Eat a serving of berries every day
Try an ice cube facial
Let me know if there are any simple skincare tips I missed in the comments below!
