The Summer Bucket List

The Summer Bucket List

Ice-cream, sunsets and sandy feet…

That’s what summer is all about – right?

While I wouldn’t say that summer is my favourite season, it definitely has its perks  – especially when you live somewhere as beautiful as I do.

I’m all for making the most of each season, but I find in January that I often forget it’s peak summer time [I say peak because it’s basically always summer here, but you know – January is proper summer] and I fail to make the most of the days.

January – at least for me – is a month of holidays. I have until the end of February until classes go back, and work is very casual – on the tutoring front I mean – so I basically have an entire month of blogging and chilling [which is FAB if I do say so myself].

I’m one of those after-the-moment kind of people, in that I don’t really appreciate things or make the most of them until they’re gone, and it’s definitely something I want to change.

Instead of allowing myself to waste the next month, I’ve created my Summer Bucket List in hopes that ticking these things off [hopefully multiple times!] will mean that this summer will forever be one to look back on.

I also created the graphic below which you can save on your phone – or maybe even make your wallpaper? – to remind you of all the fun things to get up to this summer. I’m planning on printing it out and pinning it up somewhere in my office to encourage less desk time and more outdoorsy fun. If you’re not in the southern hemisphere, you could always save it to your Pinterest for the warmer months! Why not follow me while you’re there?

What are your favourite things to get up to over the summer? Do you have anything to add to this bucket list?
