Where to Eat on the Sunshine Coast: Village Bicycle
It’s been a while since I told you guys where to eat on the Sunshine Coast, but I’m back again today to talk about one of my fave restaurants/bars E V E R.
If you’ve never heard of Village Bicycle – you’re in for a treat! Think super chill bar food with an American vibe and lots of cheese!
Harry and I have been ordering takeaway from this place almost weekly for the past year. We (almost) always get the same thing, to the point that the owners know our preferences to a tee, but the food is just THAT good that we can’t resist.
I figured it makes sense to share my recommendations, so you don’t feel lost within alllllll of the options on their menu!
Harry always orders the Village Fried Chicken Burger – which is pretty legit if I’m honest. Super crunchy and super juicy and their chipotle mayo is out of this world!
I ordered the Village Burger, which has an angus beef batty, bacon, cheddar cheese, house made pickles, onions, mustard, lettuce and mayo. I’ve been getting this burger every single time we eat here for the past couple of months and while it’s completely different to the chicken burger – in that it tastes way more American – I think it’s even better because it’s just got SO much flavour!
For sides, we ordered the Pretzel with Cheese Sauce, the Poutine (YUM), and the VFC wings that came with house made hot sauce and blue cheese sauce. While we weren’t major fans of the pretzel, the other two sides were insanely delicious! They’ve only just started putting a batter on the wings and I definitely prefer it to how they used to serve them!
So if you’re looking for a super relaxed feed on the Sunshine Coast, head to Village Bicycle in Noosa Junction. They’ve got Stone & Wood on tap and are honestly just really nice people. The service is amazing and the entire place has got the coolest vibe. You might see me there on Saturday night!
