Chili Kale Matcha Guacamole featuring Bluebird Tea Co
Have you ever created a recipe so good that you can’t stop making it?
The kind of recipe that is so simple, yet so good? And so you make it over and over again, yet never tire of the way it tastes? Well this recipe is that for me. This guacamole is life-changing.
You may not know this, but one of my duties as a Bluebird Tea Co brand rep is to create recipes with their newly released teas. This month I had the new matcha powders to play around with, which was both exciting and challenging as hell. See, there are over fifteen other brand reps, and they’re all so bloody creative. As I live in Australia, I tend to get my rep parcel last, so by the time I’ve got my hands on the new products, all of the other reps have created, photographed and published their recipes. I’m not complaining by any means and I totally realise how lucky I am to be in this situation. It just means I need to think outside the box, and for this month, I think I’ve absolutely nailed it.
Before we get to the recipe, though, I’ll give you my discount code for Bluebird Tea Co.
You can use this code for 20% off all of the loose leaf teas, teabags and matcha powders that Bluebird sell. Please note that this isn’t an affiliate code, and I don’t get any kickback from it. It’s just your girl trying to help you save a few dollars!

Okay, now that you guys are well informed on all things nutrition, you HAVE to make this guacamole. I consider myself an expert in the area of pulverized avocado, and this is the perfect guacamole. It’s so good that I’ve been having it for breakfast most days this week! I wasn’t joking when I said it’s life-changing.
CHILI KALE MATCHA GUACAMOLE featuring Bluebird Tea Co
1-2 tsp Chili Kale Matcha
2-3 ripe avocados, peeled and de-stoned
5-6 cherry tomatoes, diced
1/4 red onion, diced
1 tsp cajun spice
salt and pepper, to taste
Grab yourself a large, flat bowl. Put the avocado in the bowl and mash with a fork until all lumps are gone. Season, to taste, and add in the tomatoes and onion. Squeeze in the juice of the lime and add the cajun spice. Stir.
Spoon into your serving bowl and top with the matcha powder, sprinkling it evenly over the guacamole. Serve with your chip/cracker of choice. I love plain salted corn chips, sweet potato fries, carrot sticks or slices of cucumber. Enjoy!
You can make the guacamole without the matcha powder, but you’d be missing out on sooOOoooOOo many health benefits, and also – it takes the flavour game up by fifty notches.
Fifty notches of Chili Kale Matcha.
